A LITTLE ABOUT ME

I’m a photographer, a husband and a dad.

I’ve been shooting for about 11 years in total. I started out in street photography, reacting quickly to capture small stories of the beauty in the every day. Now I apply those skills to create compelling photographs of weddings.

I’m not one of those photographers who wants to bombard you with soppy clichés. I’m just a normal guy who loves photography and believes the best photographs come when we capture real moments and emotions, not forced and awkward poses.

WHAT IS DOCUMENTARY WEDDING PHOTOGRAPHY?

You may have seen the word documentary used a lot in wedding photography. You may have even seen photographers who use that word and then show you a gallery full of posed images.

True documentary photography is about capturing your day as it unfolds, without interfering. You won’t see me directing your guests, asking them to pose or repeat something. It’s not my job to force anything to happen on your day. It’s my job to faithfully document the real moments between you, your partner and your loved ones and I aim to do that as creatively and artistically as possible, through interesting compositions and getting up close to the action.

You don’t need to worry about feeling awkward in front of a camera; I shoot the day, not just the couple.
